A: The Dave and Steve Show is a podcast hosted by five friends from the Seattle area.

Q: Can the show be found on terrestrial radio?
A: Not at this time, but you just never know…

Q: Do you record live?
A: We sure do! You can find us every Monday and Thursday at 9:30pm PST on UStream!

Q: Why do you censor bad language? Being able to swear is the beauty of the internet.
A: Listen, we all love to swear as much as the next person. In fact if you listen to shows 15-50 in our archive, you’ll find that we say things that could make a truck driver blush. However after the infamous hypnosis bit of show #50, we decided that we had taken things a bit too far and needed to “reboot” and take things back down a notch. Q: Where is the show recorded?
A: The show is recorded in Dave’s home, with each of the other hosts connecting via Skype from their own houses. Well… technically Tracy doesn’t live in a house, but he calls his bunker home.

Q: What does “Ardar Lardar” mean?
A: Actually it’s “Argar Largar,” and it was term shouted at one of our guests by none other than Bigfoot himself. If you’d like to hear the entire interview with Bigfoot expert Cliff Crook, click right here to listen to show #20.

Q: What is “The Pile,” and if I join, does that mean I’m part of a pile of poop?
A: Of course not. In fact, it means that you’re part of the greatest group of fans in the world! The Pile is the term that we affectionately use to describe our ever-growing body of listeners. It’s our pile of devoted fans, in other words.

Q: Oh good. That makes me feel much better. So how do I join this “pile?”
A: That’s easy enough. Just listen to the show, and tell others about it who you think might also enjoy it. Q: What the hell is Dave and Steve’s Dangly Bits?
A: The Dangly Bits Show has now become its own (roughly) 30 minute segment hosted by Tracy, Jen and Dave. The Dangly Bits Shows are numbered as “b” of whatever episode number the main show is. For example; Episode 69 of the Dave and Steve Show would give that week’s Dangly Bits Show the episode number, 69b.
It took the four of us 2 months to come up with that system. It seems to work.

Q: I love your bumper music! Who is your house band?
A: Thanks! We love it too. The music you hear during the intro, outro and most of the bumpers on our show is famed Lords of Roque, The Upper Crust. Official Upper Crust Website

Q: What is your setup like?
A: Dave records the show using a combination of Audacity (to record and edit), Skype (to connect the hosts and guests), and JazlerShow (for the intro music and drops). Add to this your standard mixer, mics, and tin cans with strings between them, and you have our show!
