Dave, Steve and Tracy managed to get out and do some golfing this weekend. Here are a few highlights:
We need to share one quick story from the round as well, but we’ll save that for the show tonight, so make sure you tune in tomorrow morning if the words, “grazed sternum” interest you.
- The guys have a surprise about 5 minutes in…and the surprise can barely keep her mouth shut.
- Dave explains how fun it is to make fun of Steve.
- Steve’s dad thinks we have his name wrong.

- Listener Mike is disappointed in us. We need a primer in geekiness.
- Tracy should have played hockey.
- Papa John was…well…uh…gross. Who wants a ham sandwich?

Our iPhone App is VERY close to being completed. We’ll then have to submit it and wait for approval, which takes around 2 weeks. So with any luck, it will be available by mid-October! In the meantime, here is a screenshot of the intro screen for the App:
As mentioned, the App will be 100% free, and will have no advertisements in it at all. We just want it to be yet another fun way for The Pile to spread the word about the show.
On a side note, in light of our recent additions, we will be making future updates once we have enough drops of the (ahem) female persuasion.

As you heard on this past week’s show, we have a brand new addition to The Dave and Steve Show! Gretchen will be joining us each and every Monday night, and will add a touch of class to what has been a largely classless affair to this point. Here is a short bio to help you get to know Gretchen a bit better:
1. Where is your home town? I grew up in Tacoma, Washington and went to Stadium High School.
2. What is your favorite food? I love anything spicy and full of noodles!
3. What was your first job? I worked at a deli near the Tacoma Dome called Sunset Salami. They were “known” for their Cajun Gumbo.
4. What is your current hobby? Other than being a private tutor, personal chef, maid, clown and doctor for my 9 year old son, I love to explore the art of acting and experiment with knitting….all in my spare time, of course.
5. What is your favorite childhood memory? Convincing my 3 year old brother to run away with me to “a better place.” We made it a ½ block before my dad pulled up and instructed us both to “get in.” So much for my life on the run!
6. What was your first concert? I went with my cousin Tina to the Prince “Purple Rain” Concert at the Tacoma Dome! I will never forget that feeling of awe, fear and pure bewilderment! Thanks Cuz!
7. Pick one CD that you would want to have on a deserted Island with you. EASY! Bon Jovi Greatest Hits….complete with duets performed with Jennifer Nettles.
8. What makes you laugh? HAHA! Great question! Watching little kids when they think no one else sees them, observing “nose pickers” on the freeway, listening to myself on the radio, hearing the words “city mouse” from my favorite cousins in Pierce County and watching Old School with my favorite guy.
9. Who was your celebrity crush as a teenager? It’s a tie between Rob Lowe and Rick Springfield.
10. Where would you take your dream vacation? My FAVORITE question! After flying from Seattle to Miami for a full day of pampering with my loved ones, we would then depart to the Mediterranean and embark on a 3 week cruise aboard a private yacht. I have no plans once we set sail, as my wish is to explore as my heart leads me……cheers!
Welcome to the show, Gretchen! We’ve already started a pool in Tracy’s bunker as to when you’ll get completely disgusted/weirded out/offended by us and leave the show.
My money is on four days.
Before anyone goes around saying we hate fat kids, or we are bullies, understand that today alone we’ve posted videos of a biker falling down, drunk Detroit Lions fans fighting, a 56 year-old virgin, and this:
In other words, we’re equal opprtunity jerkwads.

I would say 98% of this video is pretty boring. That being said, it does get good towards the end, and along the way includes:
- Drunk crying.
- Potty mouth language.
- Cute girls taking on large men.
- Handcuffs.
- The ol’ “Let me get my purse.” suckerpunch move.
So we really had to post this. It just makes sense.
If this were on America’s Funniest Home Videos, the horrible voiceover would go something like this:
“Check out my sweet new ride. I am going to score so many chicks on this. Now… let’s see what this sucker can do. FLAVEN!”

The time has come to announce the latest addition to The Dave and Steve Show cast! Want to know who the lovely female is who will be joining our ranks? Well then you need to listen to the show!
- Steve is out and the rest of cast is VERY concerned.
- Some light gets shed on The Dangly Bits debacle from last week.
- How much is having your penis severed worth to you? Just ask a South Beach Bartender.
- Dumpster sex might get you robbed, or at the very least get Tracy to make bad puns about you.
- A boy makes up a story to escape a bad report card, and a new Berenstain Bears story is born.
- The cast is propositioned to fight in a league, and Pile Member Mike brings us the Pop Quiz questions.
- Princess Amber writes in, and it is decided that she needs her own sparkles.
- 3 voicemails leave the cast very confused, and Pile Member Cecil finally gets his Steel Panther!
- The Hoff is in the Hospital… AGAIN, and Hulk Hogan threatens a man with the help of some Angels.
- The show ends with the cast reaching a close relative of Steve’s, and finally getting to the bottom of his reason for being out.
We finally have a lady in the house, and it already smells much better in here.

You may be asking yourself, “Hey, where the hell is the weekly Dangly Bits episode? It’s how I get through the long and boring weekend.”
Well last night we recorded a show. During the course of the recording, horrific things took place that we can’t talk about at this time, at the advice of our lawyers. A copy of the show was also sent to local authorities, and we are now all huddled together in Tracy’s bunker, waiting for the worst.
We will return on Monday, and we hope to have at least a tiny portion of the show isolated that we can play for all of you to hear. Frankly at this stage, our legal team says the clip wouldn’t last more than 10-20 seconds, but we’ll play what we can.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter, and we hope to shed what little light we can on the events on the show we post next Tuesday.
