Tonight on the Big Show!

Monday, June 29th, 2009

It’s anyone’s guess as to who from the crew will be on the show tonight, but the “big announcement” that Tracy and Dave teased on the Dangly Bits Show will happen one way or another.

Not only that but we have a packed mailbag, voicemails, ENews, Headlines and so much more, so make sure you tune in!

The show is going through some changes, and you’ll get to hear about them Tuesday morning, so don’t miss it!

The Dave and Steve Show – Episode #69c – Dangly Bits

Friday, June 26th, 2009

Tracy and Dave bring you yet another fine mid-week Dangly Bits Episode!

The guys talk about where J and Steve are, and how it has affected the big announcement regarding the show. They also share their thoughts on the recent deaths of Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson, and how their deaths have impacted Dave’s ability to score concert tickets. Farrah’s death also conjures memories of Tracy’s first nipple slip.

The crew then shifts gears and discusses why Dave looks like a really ugly asian man when playing the latest boxing game from EA, and Tracy explains that he really wants to look like one too.

Enjoy the show, and make sure you don’t miss this Tuesday’s episode!

I would actually cancel my kid’s account just to see him do this:

No show tonight!

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

We are not recording a Dave and Steve Show episode tonight, but will return next week on our normal day. Why are we taking the time off?

Well a big reason is that it’s Steve’s Birthday today, and we thought we’d give him a chance to just relax and have some fun. Happy Birthday, Steve!

Another reason is that in almost 80 shows (if you count the Dangly Bits) we have not had a single week off since we started recording this podcast, and now felt like as good a time as any.

Finally we have some changes coming to the show, and we wanted to make sure we had all of our ducks in a row before we announced it. We are going to be seeing some changes to our crew, which we hope to tell you about on the Dangly Bits Show this week. Nobody got fired, and everyone is still great friends, but as with any long-running relationship, changes happen from time to time.

We’ll keep you posted, but no that all four members of the crew will still be a part of the show in some way moving forward.

Have a great Tuesday off from listening to us, and we’ll talk to you all later in the week!

The Dave and Steve Show – Episode #69b – Dangly Bits

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Producer J is out with a Bay Area Illness while Dave and Tracy yammer on to create the 30+ minutes of mid-week entertainment you all love.

The guys talk about buying things on TV and how George Foreman helped them use the permanent press setting on an iron to cook a tasty burger. PETA gets Angry at President Obama for slapping a fly and throwing fish in Seattle has suddenly become taboo. We show our Twitter support for Iran but we don’t have ribbons on our cars. Letterman apologizes and the guys wonder why. Finally we tease Episode #70 and the show ends with a thud.

Talk to you guys in TWO weeks on The Big Show!

This is a pretty cool prank, and I highly doubt the kid really wrote that apology.

The Dave and Steve Show – Episode #69 – Missing Topic

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

We may not have a main topic, but we have one amazing show for you!

- Dave runs from a blueberry.
- You can tranquilize a mountain lion, but you have to shoot a Chihuahua.
- A dog swallows a bunch of balls, including one in a sock.
- When you ask for extra pepperoni on your pizza, be careful what you wish for.
- We get a new sponsor to the show! Make sure you check out the Pinky Flex Turbo 9000.
- Hank Williams III is not carrying on a little family tradition, and Anvil is opening for AC/DC.
- The air guitar record is broken, and was just as lame as it sounds.
- Dave gives a lesson in business practices to record company executives.
- Amber’s looking for a rematch and we find out, thanks to Mike, that Tracy loves John Denver.
- Steve “out quicks” himself with the box office, and reveals that Captain America is not dead!
- We finish out the show with a main topic that isn’t a main topic at all.

Another fine show in the can, which is right where Tracy likes it!

Comfort Wipe commercial: Someone invented a better mousetrap.

Steve sent this via email with a subject line reading, “STOP! POST THIS NOW!”

Either he was really excited to have found yet another way to wipe his butt, or he just thought it was funny.

The Dave and Steve Show – Episode #68b – Dangly Bits

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

This is the very first Dangly Bits Show where Tracy and J are completely in charge, but as you’ll soon find out, Dave just can’t keep his big yapper shut.

The guys talk about burning Canadians, music and movie Pirates, why J is a criminal, Phil Spector, Tracy’s hatred of cops, the fact that Dave doesn’t know many chefs, getting a group tasering, Pile Member Lynda’s response to our claims that Tracy handed the quiz to her because she’s cute, men giving birth, and whether we can get Steve to lactate while being tased.

It’s 40 minutes of fun, so give a listen!

Talk to you guys next week on The Big Show!

The Dave and Steve Show – Episode #68 – Horrible Death

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

All four members are back on the show, and the results are nothing short of amazing!

- Dave visits L.A. and gets his head scanned before geeking out on animation stuff.
- A dog brings back an explosive treat, and J is a dirty pirate.
- Don’t slap a stripper in the ass unless you want to get kicked in the head.
- A man pooped on a train, and Steve questions his penmanship.
- Following a new Hometown Blotter, Dave brings an all-Hair Metal Music Beat.
- Oz Fox has married a Hooker for Jesus, and Bret Michaels got clotheslined by the Tony Awards.
- Steel Panther’s “Feel the Steel” is out now, so GO GET IT!
- Amber and Mike write in for the mailbag, and we give Tracy a hard time about last week’s quiz.
- Steve dishes out the box office numbers, and gives us the latest on David Carradine.
- The guys finish off the show by sharing ways in which they wouldn’t want to be found dead, as well as sharing the ways in which they’d actually like to “ride off into the sunset.”

Before you head out in your own blaze of glory, make sure you give this week’s show a listen!

Tonight On the Big Show!

Monday, June 8th, 2009

First of all, sorry about the lack of updates this past week. Dave was out on business in Los Angeles and asked Tracy to hold down the fort while he was gone. It turns out that Tracy believes the term “hold down the fort” means “eat Twinkies while watching Facts of Life reruns and refrain from posting anything new to the site.” Look for updates to resume as normal this week.

As far as the actual show goes, we are finally back up to full speed! So look forward to a healthy dose of Headlines, Music Beat, Mailbag (get those emails in!), and ENews.

If all that weren’t enough, we’re going to be talking about the top ways each of us wants to go when we finally kick the bucket, as well as sharing the top ways that we’d never want to be found dead.

It’s going to be the best hour of your week, so tune in tomorrow morning to listen!

Argar Largar!
